Airport Statistics

There’s a saying that one mile of paved road takes you one mile; one mile of runway can take you anywhere. This is true at Central Illinois Regional Airport, making CIRA a major economic engine and contributor to the local economy. In fact, the airport has a total annual output of more than $220 million dollars, which translates to more than 1,400 jobs, upward mobility and an improved quality of life for people who call the Central Illinois region “home.”

Here you will find statistics about our airport — like enplanements (the number of people getting on planes at our airport), deplanements (the number of people arriving into our airport), operations (which includes take-offs and landings) and more. All this activity supports our region, and the more planes we fill, the better equipped we are to make a case to the airlines to add more service at CIRA. So enjoy the numbers and keep flying from CIRA!
