Paulette Hurd new CFO for the Bloomington Normal Airport Authority
(Bloomington IL – July 21, 2017) The Bloomington Normal Airport Authority, governing body of the Central Illinois Regional Airport, is pleased to announce Ms. Paulette Hurd has joined the staff as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Hurd assumed her new role as of June 26, 2017.
A graduate of Sangamon State University in Springfield, Ms. Hurd is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. Most recently, Ms. Hurd was Chief Accountant for the City of Bloomington, a position she held for five years. Ms. Hurd also has over fifteen years experience in public accounting and auditing governmental entities. Her professional affiliations include the Illinois CPA Society, American Institute of CPAs, Government Finance Officers Association and Illinois Government Finance Officers Association.
As Chief Financial Officer Ms. Hurd is responsible for overseeing the business and finance matters for the Airport Authority under the direction of the Executive Director. Her responsibilities include all budgeting and accounting, fund management, financial planning, financial reporting and analysis, external audit preparations, and managing the financial administration of grants, bonds, and capital projects.
