SIDA and AOA Badges

Many employees who work at the airport are required to obtain SIDA badges. Hangar tenants are required to obtain AOA badges. If you are required to obtain one of these badges, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Schedule an appointment for badging by calling (309) 663-7384.
  2. We will need the following for your appointment:
    • Two (2) forms of ID (please see the list of approved I-9 documentation)
    • An authorized signature on your badge paperwork from your company manager
*Note: Without the proper ID and signature, we will have to reschedule your appointment
  3. When you arrive for your appointment, we will review your badge application and ID’s, take fingerprints (if applicable) and take your picture for your badge
  4. You will then be given a training packet that gives instructions on setting up an online account. Within one week of your badge appointment, you will need to complete and pass the security and/or drivers training. The results of your test will post to the website for us to review the results. Once completed, you will need to fill out the record of drivers training form included in the training packet and bring it with you when picking up your badge.
  5. It can take up to two weeks for your badge to be ready to issue. We will contact the authorized signor of your company to notify them that your badge is ready.
  6. Once you receive notification from your authorized signor, your badge may be picked up from our Airport Administration office. If you are picking up your badge outside of office hours, please contact the Airport Authority office during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) at (309) 663-7384 to make arrangements for pick-up.
  7. Fill out and save the interactive SIDA Badge Application or the AOA Badge Application.
  8. Submit the completed form to Cindy Howland via email at cindyh@cira.com.
