NOTICE TO BIDDERS
TWO (2) FRONT MOUNTED 18’ BROOMS AND AIRBLAST SYSTEM
The Bloomington Normal Airport Authority, is requesting competitive bids for purchase, installation, and operational testing of the following: TWO (2) FRONT MOUNTED 18’ BROOMS AND AIRBLAST SYSTEM
Sealed bids are to be received no later than 10am (CST), July 8th, 2020. Bids will be received by the Airport Authority, at the Administrative Office located at, 3201 CIRA Drive Suite 200, Bloomington, IL 61704.
Prospective BIDDERS should be thoroughly familiar with the applicable contract documents before submitting bids. ALL NOTATIONS MUST BE IN INK.
Copies of specifications, form of bids, and form of contract may be secured by bona fide BIDDERS at the Airport Authority Administrative Office located at, 3201 CIRA Drive Suite 200, Bloomington, IL 61704, between the normal business hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM weekdays; or will be mailed to interested BIDDERS upon request.
The equipment included in this Invitation for Bids consists of the BIDDER furnishing the equipment, complete, in strict accordance with applicable laws, specifications and contract documents.
Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, addressed to the undersigned, and marked naming the bid for the equipment; no facsimile or electronic copy of the bid will be accepted.
Bids are required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for up to ninety (90) calendar days after the date of opening of bids. The Airport Authority reserves the right to determine the best bid in the interest of the public, which may not be the best economic bid. Bids for the equipment listed herein shall be evaluated separately by the Airport Authority and not in conjunction with any other item proposed.
The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part with or without cause; to waive any informality, or to re-advertise.
The Bloomington Normal Airport Authority Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 4:20 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to receive any public comment on the proposed budget for FY21. The hearing will be held in conference room 2 on the second level of the Central Illinois Regional Airport terminal building. Due to the COVID-19 situation, copies of the proposed budget may be viewed at the Airport Authority office, by appointment only. Please call 309-663-7384, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.to schedule an appointment. The Airport Authority office is located at 3201 CIRA Dr. Suite 200.
